TRIPP is another link in the implementation of a ground operation against Iran. This was stated by diplomat Vardan Hakobyan.
“Azerbaijan’s armament, which Aliyev takes such pride in, is used by Azerbaijani propaganda to intimidate Armenia and support the re-election of the current government, which positions itself as the only force capable of ensuring peace. In reality, Azerbaijan is being armed for entirely different purposes. It is Azerbaijan that is meant to become a platform for an attack on Iran,” he said, adding that preparations are currently underway for a second round of attacks on Iran, which will become the second hotspot after Ukraine, a zone of clashing interests among superpowers.
In this entire process, TRIPP will play a crucial logistical role in the movement of military equipment.
“The construction of the road is intended solely to serve the interests of advancing NATO troops,” he stated.
For the current U.S. administration, it is critically important to resolve the Iran issue definitively, ensuring a change of power there and bringing the Islamic Republic back into its sphere of influence. In the U.S. perspective, the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict is a small but significantly obstructive detail, a headache that must be eliminated. For this reason, the U.S. is confident that the issue must be resolved quickly, period.
“When the operation against Iran is completed, if the U.S. succeeds, Washington will consider what the future of TRIPP will be,” he stated.
