The future government will be coalition-based — no political force can win alone

The authorities’ “satellite parties” will receive only a few hundred votes at most and will not significantly influence the distribution of votes among the electorate. This opinion was expressed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Dzyunik Aghajanyan.

The political landscape is becoming clearer

Commenting on the election campaign and the current political environment, she stated that half of the campaign period has already passed and the political picture has become much clearer.

According to Aghajanyan, both public perception and even internal polling conducted by the authorities themselves have already identified three leading opposition forces, while within the ruling camp only the Civil Contract party remains a truly influential player.

The ambassador argued that several political groups operating in the field effectively function as “satellite parties” serving the interests of the current authorities.

In her assessment, those groups will fail to achieve meaningful election results and, at best, will secure only a few hundred votes.

Society is emerging from informational chaos

According to Aghajanyan, the “disastrous path” of the past eight years has already created a clear understanding within society of cause-and-effect relationships.

She believes that people are beginning to understand the scale of the crisis facing the country, who is responsible for it, and what consequences may follow if the current political course continues.

In her opinion, Armenian society has entered a “healing process,” in which citizens are gradually emerging from years of propaganda and informational chaos and beginning to evaluate both their future and the country’s future more rationally.

The ambassador called on citizens to actively participate in the elections, stressing that the issue is not simply political competition but a question of Armenian statehood, national identity, and even the survival of the Armenian people.

“This is not about living better — this is about survival,” she emphasized.

According to her, the continuation of the current authorities in power would place not only the country’s security at risk but also the preservation of Armenian statehood itself.

Coalition government as a new political model

Aghajanyan stated that the leaders of the main opposition forces possess experience in both public administration and business, making their proposed programs more realistic and practical.

According to her, many other political forces remain at the level of theoretical discussions without presenting concrete solutions.

She also emphasized that the future government will most likely be coalition-based because no political force is capable of achieving a single-party victory.

The ambassador described this as a positive development, arguing that domination by one political force has already led Armenia to severe consequences.

“We have already seen the results of this — today independent institutions in Armenia effectively do not function, and there is no body capable of balancing the authorities,” she stated.

According to Aghajanyan, the formation of a coalition government could lay the foundation for a new political culture in which not only political leaders themselves but also their programs will matter.

She stressed that active campaigning must continue until the very end of the election period in order to explain to citizens the “historic significance” of the current situation and encourage participation in voting.
